Ennis & Co were thrilled to welcome Jolyon on board as an Ennis & Co Associate in June 2021.
Jolyon has built an impressive career within the automotive industry in a number of commercial roles at both national and global levels, working with leading premium and luxury brands.
Jolyon spent five years as a Dealer Principal in the UK with Peugeot and Mitsubishi, before joining the BMW Group in South Africa, fulfilling a number of roles including General Manager, BMW Sales and Marketing.
His experience then led him to become Sales and Marketing Director for Volkswagen South Africa, responsible for the Volkswagen and Audi brands, before becoming Executive Director with McCarthy Limited, one of South Africa’s largest motor groups. Jolyon was responsible for a range of business, including McCarthy’s vehicle import and distribution business, Yamaha and McCarthy Financial Services.
Jolyon moved back to the UK to re-join the BMW Group, where he joined Rolls-Royce Motorcars as Director, Sales and Marketing and Member of the Board of Management, leading the successful launch of the new Ghost, and playing a key role in growing the business, with revenues more than tripling over five years.
He then joined McLaren Automotive as Executive Director, Global Sales and Marketing, with responsibility for all revenue generating and commercial activities. In his seven years, Jolyon used his commercial and brand experience to help the business grow rapidly, successfully launching iconic cars such as the 720S and the Senna, and establishing McLaren as a luxury supercar brand.
Jolyon is well regarded as a highly accomplished sales and marketing professional within the industry. He brings a wealth of experience in luxury marketing, with a genuine passion for automotive, as well as valuable insight and knowledge which is greatly respected by the Ennis & Co team. Jolyon makes a fantastic addition to our Associate panel, and we very much look forward to working with him.
