What do you feel needs to change the most within modern day legal services?
There are common bugbears of the contracting process, and a familiar running theme kept arising from our research – negotiations simply need to be more collaborative. So, we decided to address this issue by creating Radius Collaborate.
Can you talk us through how Radius Collaborate works?
In its simplest form, the Radius Collaborate service provides one lawyer for both parties, who acts as a neutral mediator. This lawyer explains what needs to be documented, facilitates discussions and documents what is agreed… ensuring not only transparency and clarity, but also ease and efficiency, without “skimping” on the required legal detail.
What’s in store next for Radius Law?
We have recently entered partnership with Legito, where we have expanded client services to include both contract management and contract automation solutions. Again, this is to help provide a solution to make everything easier and ultimately an all-inclusive web-based app allowing businesses to automate, negotiate, manage, sign, store and analyse contracts.
What’s your “one trend to watch” in 2022?
Environmental change will (rightly, in my view) continue to take centre stage and change how we live our lives. The ramifications of this are huge. The automotive sector, for example, has been established for the sale and maintenance of internal combustion engines, but the emergence of electric power requires a different business model.
Change is always hard, but I am excited by it – whether it’s using trains rather than planes, clean energy rather than fossil fuels, vegan food rather than dairy, we’ll discover things that we would never have otherwise discovered. Roll on 2022!
