Drivers of Change: the hunt is on to find the best talent

As the automotive sector goes through a period of unprecedented change, the need to attract the brightest and most creative talent has never been more pressing.

That is why Ennis & Co is delighted to have teamed up with Autocar to launch a UK-wide competition, Drivers of Changeaimed at highlighting the amazing opportunities available across the industry as it embraces new developments in electrification, autonomous vehicles and digitalisation.

The competition was launched at the 2019 Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) annual dinner at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, with the winners to be announced at the 2020 dinner.

The initiative is backed by an incredible line-up of sponsors – a veritable who’s who of the automotive sector – which underlines just how eager the industry is to attract the best new talent.

The goal is to attract creative thinkers across three key sectors: technology, digital and retail.

Entrants must either be applying from outside automotive or be working in a different automotive discipline to the sector they are applying for. University students are also encouraged to enter.
