Lynda’s knowledge of the automotive industry is extensive, to say the least. Drawing upon a career in the sector spanning three decades, Lynda has impressive connections, an intuitive eye for talent and a deep understanding of the needs of her clients.
Since establishing Ennis & Co in 2010 with her co-founder, Jamie Ashman, Lynda has used her knowledge and experience to help many of the world’s best-known automotive brands identify and acquire their senior talent.
She acts as a principal consultant for all senior assignments, playing an active role in the day-to-day running of the business.
She has gained a reputation for her dynamism, professionalism and her strong attention to detail both in terms of understanding a client’s brief and in her interactions with candidates.
Lynda is also one of the automotive industry’s strongest advocates of widening diversity in the workplace and boardroom.
She is a regular speaker and media commentator on the subject and has partnered with companies such as Aston Martin, Toyota and Auto Trader to organise events promoting diversity and inclusion.
In her earlier career, Lynda worked in corporate sales, asset financing and leasing for a number of well-known automotive brands, including Inchcape and ING Lease.
She was later headhunted by Manpower, where she took on several senior roles in the UK, Europe and the United States. This was predominantly focused on fleet solutions outsourced with BT Fleet, culminating in Lynda being appointed Sales Director.
Lynda’s career then branched into strategy, growth, change and search consultancy for businesses worldwide. Clients included ARM, Capita and BBC Worldwide.
She also served as Chairman and Trustee for CCVS, an executive mentoring organisation and a provider of coaching services.
Lynda continued working within the automotive industry as Sales and Marketing Director of Xchanging, before founding Ennis & Co to help automotive companies source their senior leadership talent.
