Biography

Lynda’s diverse career started in the hospitality sector, before she transitioned into the automotive industry, progressing through the financial services/leasing segment. Lynda worked for ING Lease, where she assumed UK and European positions; notably Head of Sales and Head of Client Services. Lynda’s international work then continued outside of the automotive industry, with several senior roles for Manpower, across the UK, Europe, as well as the USA. As Global Sales Director, Lynda’s role was centred around outsourced solutions for major Global clients, including IBM, Motorola, and BT.

Lynda’s career then branched into strategy, growth, change and search consultancy for businesses worldwide. This included solutions for Courland Automotive, ARM, Capita and BBC Worldwide. After a successful period of consultancy and coaching, Lynda returned to the corporate-sector into a Board-level role as Global Sales and Marketing Director for Xchanging PLC, a business process and technology services provider and integrator. In the summer of 2010, Lynda decided to channel her strategic direction into starting her very own company, which led to the creation of Ennis & Co.

The key reason why Ennis & Co was created was to break the traditional paradigm of executive search and define its real purpose. Lynda wanted to change the perception of executive search and create a brand which stood out as personable in the market, while maintaining exceptionally high standards and attention to detail. When growing the Ennis & Co team, Lynda wanted to foster a diverse culture throughout the business. Over the years, she has hired a range of talent, ranging from senior automotive advisers to a school leaver with zero business experience who progressed to a senior position within the organisation.

The Ennis & Co values are rooted into the team, from our home-grown talent, to our senior associates. The consistency of our values, coupled with the close working relationship we develop with our clients, has allowed our business to grow 20% year-on-year.
