Ennis & Co are delighted to announce that Julie Stayte, former Chief Human Resources Officer of Volkswagen Financial Services, has joined Ennis & Co as an Associate, starting 3rd August 2020.
Julie possesses a wealth of experience in commercial HR and has operated within demanding, fast-paced customer centric environments including financial services, retail, hospitality, aviation and manufacturing.
Having started her career in HR within various hospitality organisations, Julie took on the role of Regional HR Director for Hilton Hotels UK & Ireland, with specific responsibility for over 4,000 employees. She then went on to become Group HR Director for HR Owen Plc, which led to subsequently working her way towards other automotive-focused organisations, including LeasePlanUK Ltd. This venture involved Julie’s invaluable knowledge surrounding coaching for senior leaders and employee engagement, as well as oversight of enterprise wide strategic reviews, development and delivery of a culture change strategy to ensure a values led alignment for the organisation.
As Chief Human Resources Officer for Volkswagen Financial Services, Julie partnered with the company’s CEO and CFOs, alongside the executive team, to drive and support both transformation and organisational change both in the UK and as lead for some Global projects . Her high levels of integrity, trusting – and appropriately challenging – nature is coupled with a deep and genuine understanding of people within organisations of all sizes.

Julie is now a consultant in her own right for Ideality Consulting Ltd, helping to deliver a mixture of Coaching, Interim and HR consultancy projects for clients seeking a strong and trusted advisor, within automotive and beyond.
On joining Ennis & Co as a new Associate, Julie said: “Having worked as a client of Ennis & Co, I was struck how aligned our ethos, values, genuine curiosity and desire to deliver the right outcomes was.
