Ennis & Co Group, the global automotive executive search and talent research company, have announced the return of the Bunny Ennis Fund – an annual award to support the training needs of an individual in the automotive industry.
Now in its second year, the Bunny Ennis Fund was created in memory of Bernard ‘Bunny’ Ennis, the late father of Ennis & Co Group’s founder and CEO, Lynda Ennis.
The winner will receive a cash award of up to £2,500 to enhance their career through a defined educational course or professional development programme as well as ongoing career support and advice from the Ennis & Co team and associates.
To enter, candidates are asked to describe in 200 words how the award would enhance their career, and why they believe they deserve to win it. The competition is open anyone working in the automotive industry or looking to join the sector.
Entries for The Bunny Ennis Fund 2026 opened yesterday (Nov 2 2025) and close on Jan 11 2026.
Three finalists will be invited to a special Ennis & Co industry event in London next February, where the winner will be announced.
Bunny Ennis worked in the automotive industry for his entire career and was also a campaigner and fund-raiser for fellow World War II veterans.
During the war, he served as an RAF rear gunner and was almost killed when his aircraft was shot over the Bay of Biscay in 1945, forcing him to eject and parachute into the sea.
Lynda Ennis said: “We’re delighted to announce the return of the Bunny Ennis Fund for its second year, which is intended to give something back to the industry and play a small part in developing the talent of the future.
“My father’s mantra was ‘there’s no such word as can’t’, so we’re looking for someone who embodies a positive outlook on life and a determination to succeed.”
Last year, the inaugural Bunny Ennis Fund award was presented to Jordan Workman, an HR Business Partner at Aston Martin Lagonda, who put the cash prize towards a doctoral research degree that he was self-funding alongside his day job.
Jordan Workman said: “Winning the Bunny Ennis Fund was an incredible honour and has provided far more than just financial support. The continued encouragement, advice and industry connections from Lynda and the Ennis & Co team have been invaluable as I progress my doctoral research and professional journey.”
